Detailed description of Manada Golf Club
Manada Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Grantville, Pennsylvania. Manada Golf Club is a picturesque golf course lying at the base of the Blue Mountains. It is only 1/2 mile from the Penn National Hollywood Casino and Race Track.
The course was designed by David Gordon. Manada Golf Club opened for play in 1964.
Manada Golf Club is a spacious course with medium-sized greens, long par 3's and plenty of out-of-bounds stakes. Water only comes into play on one hole, and the fairways are wide open.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,705 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,276 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 548 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 162 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 416 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Manada Golf Club is # 10, a 337 yard par-4.

The day we played they allowed a wedding party to play nine holes, many wore tee shirts and flip flops.

Manada is a nice golf course. Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad to mention either. Greens are fast and care must be taken on approaches to stay on the correct side of the hole. Layout is interesting enough. Staff is friendly, and the price is good. As economically priced muni style courses go, this is a good one.
